Xaar Team Visits Cprint 3D for Wax Jetting Collaboration

By Cprint3D Editorial Team

In November 2025, Xaar executives and technical specialists visited Cprint 3D, accompanied by members of Xaar’s Asia-Pacific and China teams. The visit focused on industrial inkjet systems, high-viscosity and high-temperature wax jetting, equipment maintenance and opportunities for deeper technical collaboration.

From printhead capability to a stable wax process

Wax pattern printing depends on more than nominal resolution. Printhead drive, waveform, material temperature, fluid delivery, jetting stability, calibration, maintenance and environmental control must work as one process. The teams reviewed how those variables affect dimensional stability, fine features, surface quality and long production runs.

Cprint 3D’s 3H-420 platform uses three Xaar printheads and is designed for industrial wax-pattern production. Published platform specifications include a 410 × 206 × 157 mm build area, 2,900 × 2,900 × 1,700 dpi addressability, features down to 0.12 mm under qualified conditions and dimensional accuracy up to ±0.02 mm depending on geometry and process setup. Actual results should be confirmed with the target material, file and inspection method.

Collaboration priorities

  • Improve jetting stability for production waxes and application-specific materials.
  • Refine maintenance and recovery procedures for sustained industrial use.
  • Connect printhead parameters with measurable pattern and casting outcomes.
  • Support new jewelry and industrial investment-casting applications.

During the exchange, a representative from Xaar’s Asia-Pacific team said that the specifications and applications demonstrated by Cprint 3D showed globally competitive development capability. The visit also established technical topics for continuing joint work.
