Xaar opened its new Asia-Pacific headquarters in the Songshan Lake High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Dongguan on June 17, 2026. According to Xaar’s announcement, the facility combines sales, technical services, a technology and innovation center, ink-supply manufacturing, printhead assembly and ink and waveform development laboratories.
Cprint 3D is a long-term strategic buyer and technical collaborator that integrates Xaar industrial printheads into its 3H-420 wax-printing system. The regional facility creates opportunities for joint wax-jetting tests, waveform and thermal-control iteration and application-lab work for precision-casting patterns.
How an industrial printhead fits a wax system
Wax printing must deposit material held within a controlled temperature and rheology window. The printhead is one part of a system that also includes supply, thermal control, waveform, motion, build wax, support wax and nesting software.
Xaar describes its TF Technology as circulating fluid behind the nozzles during jetting to support nozzle supply and help manage sediment, air and fluid condition. For wax, Cprint 3D still has to integrate and validate the head with its own materials, waveforms and equipment. Printhead-platform capability is not the same as whole-machine performance.

Areas for regional technical work
- Wax viscosity, temperature and jetting windows;
- waveform development and droplet deposition;
- fluid supply, circulation, maintenance and recovery;
- environmental and lot changes during long jobs;
- surface, detail and throughput for jewelry and industrial patterns; and
- local service, parts and issue response.
The goal is to connect localized testing, printhead supply and service with Cprint 3D’s machine, material and application development.

3H-420 system integration
The 3H-420 integrates Xaar TF recirculating printheads with Cprint 3D controls, materials and process development. Company specifications cite three printheads, build speed up to 6 mm per hour, a 410 × 206 × 150 mm-class area, 24-hour full builds under selected conditions, 0.12 mm fine features and 4 μm surface accuracy. Actual capability is qualified per material and application.

Historical marketing data also cites equipment at more than 1,000 organizations and substantial lead-time or cost improvements in selected creative, jewelry and aerospace projects. These figures are directional company records, not a guaranteed outcome for every customer.
