Event status: This meeting took place on November 25–28, 2025. This page is retained as an event report.
Cprint 3D attended the 18th Annual Meeting of the Investment Casting Branch of the China Foundry Association in Wuxi, Jiangsu. The event focused on high-quality development and brought together more than 490 representatives, 177 exhibitors and approximately 9,000 square meters of exhibition space, according to organizer information.
Printed wax patterns at the event
Cprint 3D demonstrated wax patterns for fine jewelry, complex impellers and other precision castings. Visitors discussed how tool-free pattern production can shorten development cycles, accommodate design changes and make prototypes or small batches more economical.

Published 3H-420 process figures include addressability up to 2,900 × 2,900 × 1,700 dpi, layers down to 15 μm under qualified settings, details around 0.12 mm and pattern surface roughness in the Ra 3.2–6.3 μm range. Cprint 3D materials are developed for investment casting and are described as clean-burning waxes; actual ash, shell behavior, dimensions and casting results must be verified with the selected material and foundry process.
Connecting digital patterns with foundry production
A printable file is only the start. Production requires orientation and support strategy, controlled cleaning, dimensional inspection, tree assembly, shell building, dewaxing, firing, pouring and casting inspection. Meeting discussions therefore covered the complete workflow rather than printer speed alone.
Former branch secretary-general Zhang Yun and other industry guests exchanged views with the Cprint 3D team during the event. Their feedback highlighted the importance of repeatable materials, process documentation and production-grade service as digital wax patterns move into broader foundry use.
