At the Investment Casting Industry Conference
The Annual Meeting of the China Foundry Association Investment Casting Branch and the 18th Investment Casting Industry Conference took place in Huoshan, Anhui, China, on October 18–20, 2026. Cprint 3D attended the event, introducing wax 3D printing equipment, displaying wax models for investment casting and meeting industry colleagues at its display area.

Equipment Introductions and Wax Model Displays
Cprint 3D focused its equipment introduction on the 3H-420 Plus wax 3D printer. Product displays, equipment literature and physical samples helped explain its role in investment casting. Red wax models, including impeller models, were arranged on the table so visitors could examine their contours, curved surfaces and fine features alongside the product information.
Visitors stopped to examine the samples, browse product literature and discuss how the equipment could serve their factories’ production needs. Presenting equipment information together with wax models provided a tangible reference for understanding wax 3D printing within the casting process.

From Digital Models to Casting Wax Patterns
The 3H-420 Plus wax 3D printer is designed for investment casting applications, turning digital models into wax patterns for subsequent casting operations. These patterns proceed through processes such as tree assembly, shell building, dewaxing and pouring to produce metal castings. For foundries looking to bring wax model production in-house, the equipment connects digital design with wax pattern manufacturing.
The impeller and other models on display offered a concrete reference for this manufacturing route. Curved surfaces, blades and local details in the digital model first take shape in wax before entering the subsequent casting stages. When considering the equipment, manufacturers can discuss printing configurations and applications in relation to their own part geometry, dimensions and production tasks.
Continuing Discussions on Equipment Applications
The conference gave Cprint 3D an opportunity to meet investment casting industry colleagues face to face. From inspecting wax models to reviewing equipment information, discussions centered on the exhibits and production requirements, establishing contacts for further equipment enquiries and application discussions after the event.

Thank you to everyone who visited the Cprint 3D display and shared their ideas with us. Cprint 3D will continue to introduce wax 3D printing equipment and application solutions around foundries’ practical needs, helping more manufacturers understand the route from digital models to casting wax patterns.
